Respiratory Home Care came today to do a vent check. They checked the machine and the oxygen. They took our empty portable oxygen tank (we had 2, so now we have 1). They told us that the filter on the oxygen tank needs to be cleaned at least once a week - it was filthy! So please take a moment to check it if you can. It is located on the back of the oxygen tank. Just take the filter out, dust it off, and then rinse it with just water (NO soap). Then dry it well with a towel and put it back.
