They turned out in full force at the Na Mele Nei Concert last Sunday to celebrate the release of The Watercolor Cat, the book by Shelly Mecum with illustrations by the remarkably resilient Peggy Chun. The array of entertainers included Yvonne Elliman, Keith and Carmen Haugen appeared as KFC, with the addition of pakini bucket bass performer Frank Uehara, along with the Holy Trinity Choir keiki (who sand "Come See Her Smile", the tune Daniel Ho recorded as a tribute to Chun), Pali, and Wally "Famous" Amos, who read from The Watercolor Cat...
