I'm in and out of the office today. We had another busy weekend. Friday was Peter, Bob, & Julie's last night. We went to Indy's Thanksgiving Program and then came over to the house to say our goodbyes. It was so wonderful having them here. We were all sad to see them go, but look forward to the next visit!
On Saturday, Eric's friend Chance had a big harvesting party at the kalo farm. It was a lot of fun. Then yesterday we went to Lion King! Eric was supposed to go, but he needed to get things together for his Iolani Kayaking Banquet for the team and so was feeling a bit overwhelmed. We decided to let him get his stuff done and so we took Jade in his place. The girls were so excited to see it together - they were going absolutely NUTS! They really enjoyed the show (although Indy was a little scared of the hyenas).
Eric's kayaking banquet was a great success. The kids especially loved the slideshow/video that Eric had prepared. It was great to hear how appreciative the kids and the parents are of Eric and all the coaches. It was a terrific season. This is the girls' third championship in a row!
So, as I said, I'm in and out today. I'm going to meet a girlfriend for lunch, run some errands, and then go home to clean house and catch up on laundry. Camille, Joe, and Silas will be arriving on Wednesday. Rememeber - please join us on Thanksgiving if you're free!
I just looked in Peggy's room and it as if a Christmas tornado has blown its way through there. Yikes. Please be careful - there are boxes, wrapping paper, and who knows what else all over the place. I'm going to let it slide for today, but I'll be having the "Time to Clean Your Room, Peggy" conversation soon :)
